Now that I feel safe posting them, here they are. I’m just putting them out there, with no intent other than disclosure.

A Student in Transition, Making Sense of it All
Yikes. Well, comrade, I have another chance to best you tomorrow…. well, today, technically. May the best Valedictorian win.
Michael, it’s not a competition. I’m sure you’re going to do fine, and most likely better than I. It’s a personal thing. And, modesty is a good thing.
‘The fuck are you up til midnight before SATs for?
Good question.
Well, Ricky was bound to best me whether I stayed up all night or not.
And the results are….
CR- 670
Ma- 800
Wr- 700
Old scale- 1470
New scale- 2170
Honestly, I was surprised that the CR score was not higher. My Math & Writing scores, however, are finally acceptable.
Mike, that’s fantastic. I told you that you’d finally get your 800 on the Math1
Yea mike!!! Go you!
I took the SAT back in the day when it was just the Math and Verbal and the best score was 1600. These scores are foreign to me. I am guessing the best score now is 2400?
Correct Leigh. Also, in this transitional stage, you can just drop off the Writing section and add up the Critical Reading and Mathematics scores to get a score out of 1600. The SAT people work very hard to make the scores comparable, or so they say.
Also, Leigh, welcome to my blog!
